“It is not our fault, but it is our problem,” said Pastor Kevin Roberts, during a National Day of Remembrance service held yesterday evening at Bethany ECC in Tamaqua. National Day of Remembrance is a nationally recognized time for communities to remember those lost to addiction, and offer support to their families.
Six Tamaqua pastors lead yesterday’s service of music, message and reflection; which ended with a candlelight ceremony.
The service was presented with the help of Step-Up Tamaqua, a project of the Tamaqua Area Faith Fellowship Network, and Safer Streets for Tamaqua’s Little Feet.
