“The middle house was my childhood home.It was owned by my parents,Ida and Raymond Tiley. We moved into it about 70 years ago. We spent every evening sitting on the porch watching the traffic go by. One day a movie star,Veronica Lake,drove by in her powder blue convertible with the top down. She waved to me. I was thrilled. There are so many good memories from Center Street.”
