Tamaqua Girl Scouts Ashley DeAngelo and Kayla Zamudio both received their Silver Awards recently during a scout meeting held at Zion Lutheran Church in Tamaqua.
The Silver Award is the highest award earned by a girl scout cadette. The certificate reads, “The highest award earned by a Girl Scout Cadette shows that the recipient has made a promise to help others, improve her community and become the best she can be.”
