Tamaqua Historical Society President Dale Freudenberger stated that there are plenty of unfilled seats available for all three train rides during tomorrow’s (Dec. 19) Special Santa Train Rides in Tamaqua. Rides depart and return at the Tamaqua Train Station. He added that as of late Thursday night, there were 100 seats available on the 10:30 AM ride, 75 available on the 1:00 PM ride, and 150 seats available on the 3 PM ride.
Dale Freudenberger, President, Tamaqua Historical Society, said that any remaining tickets the day of the train rides will be sold inside the Tamaqua Railroad Station on a first come, first served basis.
He added, “While in Tamaqua, be sure to visit Vonz Restaurant in the train station or one of the other fining restaurants in downtown Tamaqua. Tink’s Antiques and Momma C’s new bakery will be open and offering specials just down the street on South Railroad Street, a short distance from the station. Other stores in downtown Tamaqua will also be open for your holiday shopping pleasure. Come early and spend the day in town!”
