Here is a submitted editorial and photo from Sara Hargreaves of Lansford regarding the kind-doings of Tamaqua Salvation Army volunteer bell ringer Gloria Stoudt:
“I just want to let you know the ‘regular’ bell ringer at Boyers Food Market in Lansford has completely gone above and beyond. The first day I seen her she seemed like the typical bell ringer.  Since then, I’ve seen her 5+ times, and each day she has added something new. She bought candy canes to hand out to the kids and decorated the bell stand. She even went as far as bringing, not only her personal decorations, but bells that chime to Christmas music. I just feel she’s done far more than expected and deserves to be appreciated!!
I’ve along with others have brought her coffee in kindness.”
