Two or more individuals were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident this evening at the intersection of Tide Road and SR309 (IE WalMart intersection) in Hometown.
Emergency responders were called to the intersection around 6:20 PM for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries.
A pit-bull was also in one of the vehicles.
Responding were Hometown Fire Company, Tamaqua Rescue Squad, Rush Township Police, Hometown Fire Police, Tamaqua Ambulance and others.
Southbound traffic on SR309 was detoured onto Lincoln Drive for the duration.
No more information is known.
