Local and worldwide professional portrait painter Stephen Bennett spent time teaching local children about portrait painting during a seminar held at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center. The session was free.
For the last 20 years Stephen has explored over 30 countries worldwide, seeking out indigenous and traditional people to paint. His mission is to use his portraits to preserve and celebrate the cultures he encounters.
