Right now, members of numerous Tamaqua Senior High School clubs are holding their annual Free Tamaqua Safe Trick-Or-Treat in the school gymnasium. It will last until 8 PM.
For the third year, the World Language Club organized the free community event. In addition to tons of candy and goodies, visitors were treated to various activities, to include pumpkin painting, bead making, slime making, coloring, and more.
Participating clubs were World Language Club, Environmental Club, Blue & White Magazine Club, National Honor Society, Tamaqua Area Student Government Association, Emergency Rescue Team, Biology Club and Media Club.
Club advisors were Marietta Kotch, Jill Tucket, Lori Remmel, Kristen Klingaman, Amanda Hascin, Kathy Miorelli, Roseann Weinrich, and Steve Ulicny.
World Language Club advisor Amanda Hascin said the turnout of kids and families was amazing, adding her praise to all the students for their initiative and work during the event.
