FREEZE WATCH ISSUED LATE NIGHT SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a freeze watch in effect from late Saturday night through Sunday morning and late Sunday night into Monday morning.

Information from the freeze watch reads:

… FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING… … FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING…

  • THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A FREEZE WATCH… WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. A FREEZE WATCH HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED FROM LATE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.

  • * TEMPERATURES… LOWS WILL BE IN THE LOWER 30S SUNDAY MORNING. LOWS WILL BE EVEN COLDER ON MONDAY MORNING RANGING FROM THE UPPER 20S TO AROUND 30.

  • * TIMING… PREDAWN HOURS THROUGH TWO HOURS PAST SUNRISE EACH DAY.

  • * IMPACTS… SENSITIVE PLANTS WILL BE THREATENED BY FREEZING TEMPERATURES BOTH SUNDAY AND MONDAY MORNINGS.

  • PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

  • THOSE WITH AGRICULTURAL OR GARDENING INTERESTS SHOULD PROTECT SENSITIVE CROPS AND VEGETATION. POTTED PLANTS NORMALLY LEFT OUTDOORS SHOULD BE COVERED OR BROUGHT INSIDE.
