A number of bicycle enthusiasts are working to create a community bike trail at Owl Creek Reservoir in Tamaqua. Organizer Rich Stianche said they hope to be done the trail in the next month or so.
“We should have the additional trials open for walking hiking cycling with in a few weeks,” said Stianche. ” Spread the word about this beautiful area and hope to see you on the trails.” He added that they could always use volunteers.
The work is also being done in prelude to the first annual Dn’A Bikes and Tamaqua YMCA Duathlon set for Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the reservoir.
