LANSFORD POOL WELCOMING TAMAQUA BUNGALOW SEASON TICKET HOLDERS AT NO CHARGE

Lansford Borough Council and Lansford Pool staff are welcoming all Season Ticket Pass Holders of Tamaqua’s H.D. Buehler Memorial Bungalow Pool to use their pool at no charge until repairs are completed at the Tamaqua pool. The Bungalow was filled entirely with dirty water runoff following yesterday’s (Tuesday, June 30, 2015) flash flooding throughout the borough. (story)
Today (Wednesday, July 1, 2015), Tamaqua borough workers and pool staff could be seen working hard to drain and clean the pool and Bungalow grounds.
Rob Jones, Public Works Director, Tamaqua Borough, said they hope to have the Tamaqua pool back open in a few days.
Dave Mace, Chairman, Recreation and Youth Committee, Tamaqua Borough Council, stated Tamaqua’s appreciation to the Lansford Borough and pool staff for their generosity during these times.
