Pictured is Casey Leone, 17, helping during today’s (Tuesday, May 5, 2015) Tamaqua Volunteer’s Community Cleanup along the railroad tracks at the east end of Tamaqua. A few volunteers spent time sprucing up the adjacent land along the train tracks by picking up construction debris, branches and garbage.
Volunteers are needed again Thursday from 3:30 to 7 PM to continue the work. Call 570-668-1234 for more information. In case of rain, the event will be postponed.
