WINNER:
Amerique Hamilton and Mary Lou Hromyak guessed it’s location within 50 feet. Congrats!
No one was really accurate within 50 feet, but Amerique and Mary Lou were the most descriptive of the photo’s location.

DETAILED ANSWER WE WERE LOOKING FOR:
It is the northwest corner and second story window of the Burkhardt Moser Log Home as viewed from North Greenwood Street. The property is located in the rear of 307 East Broad Street.
Other info:
The Burkhardt Moser Log Home was the first home built in Tamaqua in 1801. It’s founder, Burkhardt Moser Jr., settled here in 1799 and built a sawmill nearby. He was also the first to discover coal in the area in 1817. It was preserved by his descendants – the Nahf Family and presented by the Ethnic Day Committee for the Sesquicentennial of Tamaqua on August 25, 1982.
The property is currently owned by the Tamaqua Historical Society.
