TAMAQUA’S SEPTEMBER 11 SERVICE SCHEDULED FOR 6 PM THURSDAY AT SOUTH WARD PLAYGROUND

Members of the South Ward Playground are holding their annual September 11 Service on Thursday (September 11, 2014) starting at 6 PM at the playground.
Speakers or dignitaries participating in the service will include pastor Ed Noftz, Dolinda Linkorst, State Representative Jerry Knowles, Maria Casey, Tamaqua Salvation Army Major Sharon Whispell, Schuylkill County Commissioner George Halcovage Jr., Schuylkill County Commissioner, Gary Hess, Steve Bayer, Tamaqua Mayor Chris Morrison, Tamaqua Council President Micah Gursky, Marine Crps veteran Andrew Leibenguth, and Lansford American Legion Riders.
The playground is located at the intersection of Oak and Penn Streets.
