UPDATE: The derby is extended into Sunday, September 14, 2014 due to Saturday’s rain. 8 AM to 4 PM.
Members and volunteers with the Kellner’s Dam Association are holding their annual Fall Fishing Derby on Saturday (September 13, 2014) at the dam in Tamaqua.
Fishing will last from 8 AM to 5 PM. It is a free admission event.
The derby, open to any children ages 4 to 15 years, includes door prizes, tagged fish, and trophies.
Homemade refreshments will also be available.
Kellner’s Dam is located at the top of Pitt Street in Tamaqua.
