Pictured are photos from yesterday’s (Tuesday, August 5, 2014) Tamaqua Salvation Army ‘Kidz Karnival’ held at the Tamaqua Train Station parking lot.
Salvation Army staff, board members and volunteers stated their appreciation to all who helped or showed support for the event; which was held in conjunction with Tamaqua’s National Night Out.
Tamaqua Major Sharon Whispell added the Corps’ appreciation to Silberline Manufacturing Inc. of Hometown for matching donations and tickets sales up to $10,000.
The Tamaqua Salvation Army is supported by community members and the Schuylkill United Way.
All proceeds from the carnival benefit activities, services and programs of the Tamaqua Salvation Army.
