Pictured yesterday (July 27, 2014) are photos of a moving sale poster that someone hung up on poles throughout Tamaqua, Coaldale and Lansford. The signs say: “Moving Sale, Fri-Sat-Sun, July 11th, 12th, 13th. 113 6th Street, Coaldale”
“Their sale was two weeks ago, yet their signs still remain littered on our poles,” said a member of the Tamaqua Volunteers group. The group took most of these Coaldale signs down recently in Tamaqua, although most, if not all, still remain on poles in Lansford and Coaldale. The group currently serves as the only volunteer organization that cleans the poles and removes old signs in Tamaqua.
The volunteer added, ” We understand if one or two signs are accidentally left up or forgotten, but when all are left up, that simply shows they just don’t care.”
“If you know of the people living at this address, tell them to remove their trash from our towns,” the group added.

The person that lives at that address did not have the ‘moving sale’! The driveway & yard were loaned out to another person who had no yard! I do believe the moving sale leftovers are still there as well. Idk what happened.
