Lansford’s Community Pool is closed today (Monday, July 7, 2014) for minor repairs.
Tamaqua Councilman Justin Startzel said on Facebook that Tamaqua’s Howard D. Buehler Bungalow Pool will honor Panther Valley pool tags/passes at no charge during the closure. In addition, residents from the Panther Valley School District without a pass/tag will be charged the Tamaqua daily rate.
Mary Ann Krajnak, PV pool manager, said the water level of the pool must be lowered to repair a pipe.
It is not known how long the Panther Valley Pool will remain closed.
