Today (Monday, June 16, 2014), police in Schuylkill County arrested 17 people suspected of selling illegal drugs in Tamaqua.
According to a Republican Herald story, officials began serving warrants early today and bringing in those arrested before Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer, Tamaqua, before arraignment prior to transport to jail.
It adds that arrest warrants were issued based on months of video surveillance and undercover buys through Schuylkill County Drug Task Force.
The updated story lists those arrested as:
Sally J. Hartung, 45, of Tamaqua;
Latia T. Matrician, 21, of Tamaqua;
Jason J. Hill, 24, of New Ringgold;
Michael J. Kabana, 24, of Coaldale;
Noelle H. Parisi, 18, of Tamaqua;
Kristina M. Martin, 19, of Tamaqua;
Thomas L. Bilsak, 25, of Coaldale;
James R. Troy, 37, of Lansford;
Adam Cruz, 29, of Tamaqua;
Patrica A. Derau, 41, of Lansford;
Peggy S. Hill, 48, of Coaldale;
Terri L. Kates-Fairchild, 35, of Tamaqua;
Percy Brown, unkown info.;
Ashley Weirich, unknown info.;
Kelly DeLessio, unknown info.;
Stephanie Forrester, 22, of Coaldale;
and a 17-year old juvenile.
Police are still looking for Justin S. Nahf, 25, of Telford, and Maria Motroni, 26, of Allentown. Both are wanted on drug charges. Anyone with information about their whereabouts is encouraged to contact your local police department.
