Rain didn’t stop Sister Lisa from collecting mission-trip donations outside the Hometown Wal-Mart this evening (Friday, April 4, 2014). She, along with other volunteers, are collecting monetary donations to send 8-9 students from Marian Catholic High School to the Dominican Republic.  She said it will cost about $900 for each recipient.
In addition, this trip will serve as Sister Lisa’s 48th mission trip to areas abroad. Sister Lisa added that she lived is El Factor, a town in the María Trinidad Sánchez province of the Dominican Republic, for 8 and a half years.
