Below is Tamaqua’s updated snow removal schedule for Thursday, February 20 and Friday, February 21, 2014. The only change is the addition of two streets to Friday’s schedule (Lehigh Street and Mauch Chunk Street).
The Tamaqua Borough will be removing snow over the next few days. All vehicles must be moved from the posted streets. Vehicles that remain on the posted streets will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. Snow removal will continue as needed, and residents will receive notice of additional streets that will be cleared.  This schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.

Thursday, February 20, 2014 (Starting at 1 AM)
Arlington Street – from Federal Street to Greenwood Street.
Willing Street – from Clark Street to Market Street.

Thursday, February 20, 2014 (Starting at 11 AM)
Rowe Street – from Berwick Street to Lehigh Street.

Friday, February 21, 2014 (Starting at 1 AM)
Greenwood Street – from Broad Street to Arlington Street.
Lehigh Street – Broad Street to Elm Street.
Mauch Chunk Street – Pine Street to end.
Cedar Street Bridge and drains.
Various catch basins.

Friday, February 21, 2014 (Starting at 11 AM)
Elizabeth Street – from Elm Street to Willing Street.
Clark Street – from Elm Street to Willing Street.
