MILE HILL CLOSED BETWEEN RUSH TOWNSHIP AND MCADOO

Police and Fire Police have closed the SR309 hill (Mile Hill) between Rush Township and Kline Township due to road conditions. As of 11:45 AM, only the northbound lane was closed. Fire Police are diverting northbound traffic at the East Main Street and SR309 intersection.

This is utterly rediculous…..hummm it was no secret they we were getting this storm and other then complete idiocy why was this main through way to the interstate not treated and maintained. I thought that the extra tax paying for our gas was to be used for this type of stuff and road repairs? Virginia gas 3.00…..PA 3.60. I had to go through Delano to get home because a rude and what seemed to be uneducated cop from Rush township made me risk my life, wreck my car and go all the way through Delano to get to the interstate and get into Mcadoo…a trip that should have taken 5 minutes turned into 2 hours…..plenty of eating the storm was coming guys….get it together because the road crews and the Rush Township Cops are worthless…
