A parade will be held today (Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014) for the Tamaqua Area High School Girls League. The parade for the Schuylkill League Champions will travel through Brockton, Mary D, Tuscarora and Tamaqua. Tentatively, the parade will start in Brockton shortly after 4:30 PM. The parade will turn around at the Jamesway Plaza and then head back through town. A celebration will be held immediately after the parade for the champions and their families at the Tuscarora Fire Company.
