Volunteers are preparing hundreds of bags for today’s free frozen food giveaway. It runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (or until gone) at the Tamaqua Salvation Army.
There are enough donations for approximately 130 households. Each will get 2 bags of frozen meats and a frozen ham.
The giveaway is open to any needy individual or family living within the Tamaqua or Panther Valley school district areas.
No registration required. Simply show up.
Identification required. One bag per household.
First come, first serve.
This is in addition to their regular food giveaways.
Salvation Army reserves the right to limit anyone.
