Tamaqua Police officers Mike Hobbs, a 16-year veteran of the force, and Jeremy Sborz, a 2-year veteran, were on-hand this evening talking to members and visitors of Safer Streets for Tamaqua’s Little Feet (SSfTLF) group. Discussions during their monthly monthly meeting involved drug addiction support, family/loved-one’s understanding and identification, as well as available long-term recovery methods.
Safer Streets president John Sienkiewicz and vice president Tammy Sienkiewicz stated their appreciation to the officers and all who choose to get involved.
Their next meeting is Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 6 p.m at the South Ward Community Park. All are welcome to attend. More volunteers are needed.
