FIVE YEARS AGO: Pictured on January 14, 2012 is Tamaqua Area Animal Rescue volunteer Sue Schafer, while in a parking lot of a Frackville restaurant, volunteering her time to help swap transport “Nola”, a black rottie mix, to a shelter in Connecticut.
This is one of many actions taken by the group to help our furry friends.
