Road conditions

Road conditions are wet, slick and very slippery at spots – as of 3 p.m.
For the most part, all major roads are safe to drive on as long as you drive slow, very carefully and with common sense. Leave enough room to stop.
Back roads are still very dangerous to travel on without use of 4-wheel-drive.
Main roads in Tamaqua are safe to travel. All wards in Tamaqua, except South Ward, are safe to drive if you drive slow and have 4-wheel-drive. Recommended to avoid South Ward for a few hours.
