An artist Meet and Greet for Suzanne Dalton was held Thursday at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center. Her work will be on display until January 27.
Now living in the Tamaqua area, Dalton was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.
She attended Kutztown and the Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts) where she graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Design. She attends watercolor workshops throughout the year. The things that inspire her to paint are everywhere, from pets, to people, to new surroundings.
“Scenic beauty is everywhere. Sometimes it’s just a different perspective, or a different time of day that makes the mundane beautiful. Schuylkill County is a beautiful area, with a rich history,” said Dalton.
