Tamaqua Area Student Government Association Donates Food, Trees, to Salvation Army, Tamaqua (8)

Members of the Tamaqua Area High School’s Tamaqua Area Student Government Association donated non-perishable food items and two Christmas trees to needy individuals.
Their food drive encouraged students to bring in items during the winter formal held recently.
The food items were donated to the Tamaqua Salvation Army. The trees were distributed to two needy families via a volunteer.
Steve Ulicny, advisor, TASGA, stated his appreciation to the students for their work and to Graver’s Tree Farm for donating the trees.
