WOMAN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER TWO-VEHICLE CRASH; 2ND M.V.A. IN HOMETOWN IN LESS THAN AN HOUR

A woman was transported via ambulance to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash this evening at the main intersection in Hometown. Emergency personnel were dispatched around 7:15 PM to SR309 and SR54 for a two-vehicle accident with injuries.
This accident occurred less than an hour prior to another accident in Hometown (at the WalMart intersection).
Responding were Hometown Fire Company, Tamaqua Rescue Squad, Rush Township Police, Kline Township Police, Tamaqua Ambulance and others.
Unofficial information states the woman might have been suffering a medical condition prior and during the crash.
