A male driver escaped serious injury after allegedly losing control on black ice and crashing his vehicle on Interstate 81 in Kline Township this morning.
Emergency personnel were dispatched shortly after 8:30 AM to the southbound side of the interstate near mile marker 138 for a vehicle rollover with possible injury.
Unofficial information stated the driver was traveling north on the interstate when he hit a patch of black ice while crossing the SR309 exit ramp. This resulted in the vehicle to spin out of control, cross the median and overturn on the southbound side.
Responding were McAdoo Fire Company, Delano Fire Company, McAdoo Ambulance, State Police, and others.
