Pictured is Frank Fabrizio arranging thousands of holiday lights in preparation for Tamaqua’s Spirit of Christmas Tree Lighting this Sunday (Dec. 6) at the Depot Square Park.
The tree lighting is scheduled to start at 6 PM. Members of the Tamaqua Area Jazz Chorale will be performing during the program. Free hot chocolate and cookies are provided after the event at the Tamaqua Community Ambulance Garage.
The Santa Parade, set for today at 6 PM, will end at the Depot Square Park, followed by free online photos with Santa at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, 125 Pine Street.
If anyone is willing to donate cookies for this event in encouraged to let Jean Towle know on Facebook or you can drop them off at the ambulance garage at 5 PM that day.
