Tamaqua Cub and Boy Scouts from Troop 777 collected hundreds of non-perishable food items yesterday morning from area residents during their annual Scouting For Food Drive. After collecting the items, they dropped them off at the Tamaqua Salvation Army, where they also helped to sort them in preparation for the upcoming Thanksgiving food distribution.
The troop is a annual supporter of the Tamaqua Salvation Army’s Food Drive.
