Right now, crews with the Tamaqua Water Department are working in the light rain to repair a leaking service line to a residence along the 600 block of East Broad Street in Tamaqua.
The department services over 3,000 customers within Tamaqua, Hometown, West Penn and in between.
Most water lines within the borough date back to the 1930’s or earlier.
