
Three families are displaced after a fast-moving, three-alarm fire damaged four homes in Ashland today. Emergency responders were dispatched around 12:40 PM to the 1000 block of Walnut Street for a working house fire. They arrived the see the rear of one home completely engulfed in flames.
Officials on scene stated the fire might have spread via a propane tank, as neighbors reported hearing explosions.
A state police fire marshal is still investigating the scene.
Three families are being helped via the Schuylkill American Red Cross.
