A sign on the front window of the new Family Dollar on Center Street (SR309) in Tamaqua states that they are hiring. It reads, “We are hiring. Join our family and discover a rewarding career. Inquire within or apply online at www.familydollar.com.”
Management noted that they will need 7-9 more people to hire to help unload the first few trucks and build shelving, adding that they will be working from 8 AM to 6 PM for about 10 days starting September 8, 2015. Some those temporary positions could turn permanent.
