A number of residents in the South Ward section of Tamaqua reported to TamaquaArea.com that their vehicles were broken into or ransacked over the past few days. The majority of these residents live on the first block of Orwigsburg Street and Penn Street.
One resident stated that the thieves struck late in the night and early morning.
