Members of the Tamaqua Volunteers group stated their appreciation to the Tamaqua Transfer Station for waving their fees for the group’s monthly Donation Drop-Off and Tamaqua Community Giveaway events. Before and after each event (which are held the last Saturday of every warm month), volunteers have to make room and dispose of unwanted items. In addition to being very time-consuming, it can be expensive. “That is one less expense we have to worry about,” said the group president. “Thank you Tamaqua Transfer Station for your support and generosity.”
