A woman was taken to the hospital yesterday (Wednesday, August 5, 2015) following a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Tide Road and SR309 in Rush Township. Emergency personnel were called around 3 PM to the area for a report of an accident with unknown injuries. A witness said the woman in the car was complaining about head pain.
The incident involved a tan/grey Honda Element and a white Ford F-350 work truck.
Responding were Rush Township Police, Tamaqua Ambulance, Hometown Fire Company, Hometown Fire Police and others.
Hope’s Towing removed the van.
