A man was lucky to only suffer cuts and bruises after crashing his pickup truck through a guardrail and down a deep cliff in Kline Township around 12 AM yesterday (Tuesday, July 28, 2015).
The incident occurred along the sharp curve on the on-ramp to Interstate 81 southbound. After crashing through the guardrail, the truck then struck trees and came to rest about 25 feet down from the road.
Officials on scene stated that crews had recently repaired the guardrails after a double-tractor trailer had crashed through it a few weeks ago.
Responding were McAdoo Fire Company, McAdoo Ambulance and State Police.
The truck was so far into the trees and brush, it was impossible to take a photo of the truck (a white Chevy pickup).
