Members and volunteers with the New Life Assembly of God Church in Tamaqua will be taking registrations for their “Supplied by Love… Back to School Giveaway” event next month. The giveaway is open to Tamaqua School District students (grades K-12).
Families must pre-register in person on the following dates:
– Thursday, July 23 from 12 PM to 3 PM and 5 PM to 8 PM.
– Friday, July 24 from 12 PM to 3 PM.
Families will get to choose from a supply of uniforms, school supplies, backpacks and haircuts.
Volunteers added that there is a limited supply of items. First registered, first served. Proof of residency is required.
Giveaway is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2015 between 10 AM and 2 PM. (The child must be present to receive items.)
