

Members and volunteers with C.H.O.S.E. Community Initiative Group in Coaldale are holding their first annual Splash Day today (Sunday, July 19, 2015) from 2 PM to 5 PM at the CHOSE Park (Tom “Doc” Raymer & Joseph “Chappie” Sharpe Memorial Park) in Coaldale. The event is open to children ages 12 and under, no matter where you live.
In addition to early registrations, new registrations will also be taken from 2 PM to 2:30 PM.
Organizers added that there is a $5 fee to cover the cost of the t-shirts. There is a limited amount of shirts available.
“Some of the activities include slip and slide, sponge toss, mural group painting, water balloon pair toss, watermelon eating contest, bubble station and more,” said Angela Krapf, President of the group.
Krapf added that visitors will be able to dunk water on police officers too. The park in located next to the Coaldale fire company located at 121 West High Street. Click HERE for directions.
