Less than 24 hours after Tamaqua’s H.D. Buehler Bungalow Pool was filled with dirty water runoff, borough crews and pool staff were removing the final layer of mud and dirty water.
Rob Jones, Public Works Director, Tamaqua Borough, stated his appreciation to all the borough workers and pool staff that worked non-stop in dirty conditions to get the pool back the way it was.
He added that he hopes to have the pool ready for guests once the pool is refilled, which could take a couple days.
Officials stated their appreciation to La Dolce Casa and Justin Startzel for donating food and refreshments to the workers.
“Tamaqua is so proud of our team… true public servants,” said Micah Gursky, President, Tamaqua Borough Council.
