After 12 years writing community-based stories for the local paper (Times News LLC), David Wargo has said he is retiring from the paper. Wargo, a longtime volunteer of numerous organizations in Summit Hill, said during yesterday’s Summit Hill Hootenanny that he is opting to dedicate more of his time to his family and the community.
Wargo said on Facebook:
“It was a very difficult decision and I wrote my last column with a tear in my eye, but I’m not leaving you…I will continue to write, but it just won’t be in the paper anymore. My blog information that you can subscribe to is below and there will be projects…so I will be around and never say never again… 🙂
I plan to devote more time toward my family and my book projects one of which is online here at www.mysteriesonthemountain.com and I will continue to do my blog, www.pvparanormalpress.com so subscribe to my blog as I plan to continue to write about things on there.
For those on FB you can also find me at https://www.facebook.com/mysteriesonthemountain… and https://www.facebook.com/pages/PV-Paranormal-Press/573235232719925.”
Wargo stressed that he isn’t saying goodbye… “It’s just til next time…”
