DELAYED POST:
A young Tamaqua woman was transported to the hospital after losing control and crashing her car into a tree Thursday (June 25, 2015) on US209 just north of New Philadelphia.
Emergency responders were dispatched shortly after 6 PM to the area of 14 North Valley Street (State Route 209) for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Rescuers used hydraulic equipment to cut the roof off of the vehicle and safely remove the woman.
