MAHANOY CITY ELKS, BARNESVILLE BOY SCOUTS TAKE PART IN FLAG DAY CEREMONY

Members of the Barnesville Boy Scout Troop 725 were part of the annual Elks Lodge Flag Day Ceremony held at the Mahanoy City Elks BPOE #695 Lodge on Sunday, June 14, 2015.
The program included:
– Welcome by Gerald A. Kufrovich, DDGER, Exalted Ruler.
– National Anthem played by accompanist Ruth Jane Balliett, PER.
– Prayer by Gertrude M. Kufrovich, Chaplain.
– Readings by Loyal Knight, Lecturing Night, and Leading Night.
– Reading by Madison Cavenas, 14, who placed 1st in the PA Elks Essay Contest and 2nd in the National PA Elks Essay Contest.
