Melinda Stumpf, Regional Affairs Director of PPL Electric Utilities, presented the Tamaqua Area Community Partnership (TACP) with a check for $20,000 on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 as part of their $50,000 pledge to the partnership’s Capital Campaign.
The capital campaign started in 2013 and supports improvements at the Tamaqua Community Art Center, the renovation of the former “Tiki” at 20 Mauch Chunk St, renovations to 27 Center Street and the improvements to the Tamaqua Historical Society Museum.
Following the presentation, Micah Gursky, Executive Director, TACP, gave Stumpf and other visitors a tour of the art center and historic property renovation projects.
