CONSTRUCTION STATUS OF NEW FAMILY DOLLAR IN TAMAQUA

Pictured are a few photos taken yesterday (Wednesday, June 17, 2015) of the new Family Dollar on Center Street in Tamaqua. The old store, 137 North Railroad Street, closed in January.
The new location consists of 4 separate parcels to be consolidated. The parcels are located at 125 and 127 Center Street and the two adjacent parcels north of 125 Center Street.
The new Tamaqua store, 80-feet by 104-feet, will sit on a 100-feet by 220-feet lot, with 16 parking spaces. Unofficial information states that construction and of its new location next to Burger King could take over a year.
Schuylkill Parcel Locator lists Hutchinson Realty Dev. LLC of Williamsport as the current owner of lots at intersection of Spruce and Center Streets. Sale date was March 10, 2015. (link)
