HURRY UP AND BUY YOUR TRAIN RIDE TICKETS FOR THIS SUNDAY IN TAMAQUA

Here is another reminder to buy your tickets for this Sunday’s (June 21, 2015) train excursions in Tamaqua.
The rides, which depart from the Tamaqua Train Station, are being held during the Tamaqua Historical Society’s Annual Tamaqua Summerfest.

There are three excursions. 2 trips north, 1 trip south.  They are:
11 AM -Tamaqua to New Ringgold and return.
1 PM -Tamaqua to High Bridge and return.
3 PM – Tamaqua to High Bridge and return.
Each excursion is about an hour long.

Costs are:
– Adults $13 (ages 13 and up) each.
– Children $9 (ages 3 to 12) each.
– Infants are free (ages 2 and under) with each paying adult.
– Every passenger needs a ticket.

Tickets can be purchased at the Chamber office, 114 West Broad, during regular office hours or by calling 570-668-5722. If no one answers, please leave a message.

Cash, check or credit cards accepted. Advance ticket purchases are strongly recommended.

Remaining tickets will be sold on a first come basis at the station that day. No guarantees there will be any available.

These trips are being organized by the Tamaqua Historical Society through cooperation with the Reading Blue Mountain Railroad.
