D.A.V. OFFERING VETERANS HELP SESSIONS EVERY MONTH IN TAMAQUA

DAV representative tamaqua borough hallBruce Kosack, a representative from the Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.), will be available once or twice a month at the borough hall in Tamaqua to offer free veteran’s claim service for veterans, as well as widows and dependent children of veterans. The one-on-one sessions are normally held on the first Friday of every month from 9 AM to 2 PM, excluding on or around holidays.
Due to the upcoming Fourth of July holiday, the next session is moved to July 15, 2015.

During the visits, information and assistance will be provided for service connected disability claims, low-income pension, health care claims for service connected disabilities and low-income veterans and other questions concerning veterans’ benefits.
